#132: Listener Episode: Losing Alcohol and Gaining Vision

On today's listener episode I interviewed Chelsea, who recently got out of her 3 year relationship with an unfaithful partner. Despite the title of this episode, the purpose is not to encourage you to stop drinking but rather to see yourself, your worth, and what you deserve in a new light, which is exactly what Chelsea did in her healing process. Towards the end of her relationship, Chelsea made the decision to go alcohol free, and in the process she gained new glasses that allowed her to finally see herself, her relationship, and her partner in a new and renewed way which ended up leading her to the decision to end the relationship knowing he was not treating her in the way she deserved. Chelsea has a very impactful story, and know it will be so valuable for so many of you!

#128: Listener Story - Finding Yourself Again

On today's episode, I got to talk with Kylie who is a 29 year old therapist who shares her story of finding herself again after her breakup and divorce. Kylie was with her now ex-husband since she was 19 years old, they we're married, and share a daughter together. This episode covers a lot of things, including navigating divorce, the process of coparenting, and has a great perspective of why her breakup happened, and what worked and didn't work while navigating her breakup . The main thing she talks about is the fact that she was in a very dependent relationship with her ex, and how empowering and freeing it was to finally find her own feet. Learning to love herself again, do things with herself, and spending time alone.

#127: The Experience of Grief with Krista St. Germain

On today's expert episode I am talking to Krista St. Germain who is a master certified life coach, post-traumatic growth and grief expert, a widow, and a mom. I've been wanting to get an expert on grief for awhile now, being such a misunderstood topic that we know so little about. Krista went through her own extremely heartbreaking experience 6 years ago, losing her husband and over the course of the following years she wanted to help other widows going through the same thing. This episode will help give you validation for your feelings, and is certainly relatable to not only widows but anyone experiencing grief. Absolutely loved getting to interview Krista, and I know you will all love it too.

#126: The Next Person You Date After A Breakup

I titled this episode "the next person you date" and discuss some of the stumbling blocks & experiences that tend to happen with the next person you date after going through a breakup. The biggest theme on this topic is that consciously or subconsciously we tend to put a lot of pressure on the next person you date after a breakup, and compare everything they do to your ex - but that it isn't an indicator on how your love life is going to turn out.

#120 What Does It Mean

On today's solo episode we are talking about what does it mean when my ex does blank? I shared this question on my Instagram last week and got SO many responses in such a short time and thought this would be a great episode to touch on. Ultimately, what does it mean when my ex does blank? It means very little to nothing about you, and thats the moral of the story. When your ex does something, takes action, or inaction - it's not personal, and we can't make it mean something about us. Throughout this episode we talk about different responses that came from this question, how to not take every action or inaction personal, and how to continue moving on and focusing on your overall healing in your breakup.
