#69: Getting Stuck in the Cycle of Breaking Up + Getting Back Together

In today's episode I talk all about getting stuck in the toxic cycle of breaking up and getting back together over and over and over again. In the episode I talk about why it's so toxic and damaging to get stuck in that cycle, some ways to escape the cycle if you're stuck, and ways to prevent yourself from doing that if you're just out of a break up.

#67 Whose fault was it?

One of the things we can get obsessed about after a break up is trying to figure out whose fault it was. We can sometimes think that by figuring out whose to blame it will make the break up hurt less and make us feel more in control. In this episode I talk about why we always want to be able to point the finger at someone (even if it's at us), why it's not actually helpful to place blame, and the difference between pointing the finger and actually learning and reflecting from mistakes made.

#65 What is the purpose of heartbreak?

Last week during my Thursday Q&A on Instagram someone submitted a question “what is the point of heartbreak?” my answer to that received so much feedback that I wanted to turn it into a full episode. In today’s episode I’ll talk about what I think the point of going through a break up is, and no I don’t believe the point of it is just to suffer. The point of break up is what that pain and suffering empowers you to do, I give tons of examples on how I’ve seen break ups become blessings in disguise in my life and client’s lives. My guess is you’ll come away from this episode with a new found hope for the future and a motivation to harness your heartbreak for something positive.

#59: Break Up Questions I’m Most Often Asked Pt. 1

Is it normal to dream about my ex? How long do I have to practice No Contact for? My ex has some of my stuff, what do I do? Should I reach out to my ex on their birthday? When is it ok to start dating again? How is my ex already dating someone new? And more!

In this episode I do a rapid fire of 10 of my most commonly asked questions about break ups. These are questions that I get DM'd about the most but they're not big enough topics to cover in a full episode. This will be part of an ongoing series so stay tuned!
