#118 Listener Story Maggie: It’s Okay to Have Needs
On today's listener episode, I got to interview Maggie who got out of a year and a half relationship back in November. With this being her first serious relationship, she didn't have a lot of context on what a "normal relationship" looked like. We talk about her journey in learning that it's OKAY to have needs. Having and expressing needs in a relationship shows self-confidence, self-worth, and self-esteem. Tune in to hear more about Maggie, her story, and her process of healing from her heartbreak.
#117 Anxiously Attached with Jessica Baum

We've talked about attachment theory before on the podcast, but Jessica elaborates more and talks about anxious attachment in relationships. How you can exist in a peaceful, grounded relationship even as an anxious person. We tend to feel like if we have an anxious attachment style that we are doomed in future relationships, but Jessica talks about all the things we can do on individual levels and within our support system outside of our relationship.

#116 Do Ex’s Always Come Back?
On today's solo episode we are talking about the topic of Do Ex's Always Come Back? Some of the unhelpful advice we sometimes hear on social media, is "they always come back", but this isn't always the case. Throughout this episode we will dive into some of the reasons ex's do come back, as well as why they don't. You attract what you promote, so often times the fact that your ex hasn't come back means you've outgrown them in a good way.
#115 Breakup Hot Takes with Shaun Galanos
On today's episode, I got the opportunity to talk with Shaun Galanos, a VERY highly recommended and requested guest! We are calling this episode Breakup Hot Takes, where we talk about all of Shaun's takes on different things we like to talk about here at Breakup Bestie including being friends with an ex, the no contact rule, boundaries, etc! #113 Why Your Ex Was Mean Post Breakup.
On today's solo episode I wanted to cover a question I get a lot on our Thursday Q&A that we do over on my Instagram page @yourbreakupbestie. When your ex is mean to you post breakup it feels awful, and it's a fair question to want an answer to, and to feel confused about. There are a lot of variations of this situation whether they are cold during the breakup, or after it hurts regardless. Breakups are really shocking and hard no matter what, but if this is something that happened to you in the midst of your breakup - tune in as we dive into more.
#112 Overcoming a Blindsided Breakup with Natasha B.
On today's listener episode I got the opportunity to talk with Natasha B. Natasha went through a breakup about 7 months prior to our interview after being with her partner for 2.5 years. Her breakup came unexpected and without closure, which is such a good example and situation of how you can put so much into a relationship and do so many things right - but can't fix a relationship that isn't with the right person. She talks about her journey of how she came to realize that, and in turn move on from that. In her breakup, Natasha doesn't follow the No Contact Rule - which is something I talk about often, but it's a great opportunity to hear from someone who did have contact with their ex throughout their breakup and how that factored into her overall healing process.
This is such a great episode on starting fresh, and a real & true example of overcoming struggle and heartbreak.

On today’s solo episode, we are talking about the differences between men & women going through a breakup. #107 Never Getting An Apology
On today's solo episode, we are talking about never getting an apology from your ex. This topic is tough because at the end of the day, we can't force an apology out of our ex - but that doesn't make it any less difficult to deal with in break ups. Things we cover in this episode are how to move on when you deserve an apology but don't get one, why you shouldn't wait for an apology, and how to deal with the emotions of anger and resentment over not getting the apology you deserve.
#106: Owning Your Part with Kyle
This is officially the first male listener episode we've had here on the Heal Your Heartbreak Podcast, and you won't be disappointed! I got to interview Kyle, who got out of an on and off relationship five months ago. They had rushed into things, and he knew deep down things just weren't right, but he did what he could to stay in the relationship. Throughout the episode, Kyle talks about how much he lost himself through trying to save and salvage his relationship. Following the breakup he took his healing process head on, and shares about how he incorporated journaling, therapy, talking with friends, and also how he hit the pause button to really take the time to feel all the feelings. This episode is such a good one, and reflects everything I would prescribe to find healing post breakup.
#105: How To Change Who You Attract
On today's episode we talk about how to change who you are attracting in your relationships. After breakups a lot of us ask ourselves why we attract people who hurt us, and there are big differences between dating mistakes most of us make, and PATTERNS that are likely linked to beliefs we have about ourselves. In this episode we dive into how to following a breakup we can best use our time to make some changes that allow you to change the type of person you attract in the future, change your beliefs about yourself, and how to ask questions to really learn more about yourself to help break some of those patterns in the future.

On today's solo episode we talk about how to be OK single. If you're someone who has never spent time single the most important thing you can do is to spend time single, and find how liberating and empowering it can be. Being OK single doesn't mean you want to be single forever, it just means that you know how to be content in the situation you're in. When you can get to a place where you are content on your own, you're automatically raising the bar for the next partner you bring into your life. Tune in for my take on the benefits of being OK single, and how to tackle the fear & discomfort associated with it.

In this episode I want to shed some light on some things you will likely experience once you dip your toe back into the dating scene.
