In today's episode I talk about the phrase I respond to so many DM's and questions with which is "it's because you're human". I talk about how we hold ourselves to an unrealistic expectation when going through a breakup and don't take into account that we're human beings with a broken heart. This episode encourages a lot of self compassion and grace and is great for anyone who finds themselves questioning their emotions and reactions post breakup.

#163 The Difference Between Giving Up and Surrendering
In today's solo episode I'm talking all about the difference between giving up on a relationship and surrendering. I often get messages saying that I'm promoting people breaking up which isn't at all the case, I'm all about doing the work to make a relationship work but there comes a time when we have to let go and surrender when something is no longer working. I talk about why surrendering doesn't mean losing, it means being in acceptance and no longer fighting the reality of what's going on.
#162 My Thoughts on Conscious Uncoupling
In today's episode I share my thoughts on the idea of conscious uncoupling and I talk about why it's so common that celebrities say that they're remaining friends in their public statements, and why the way breakups are portrayed in the media can be harmful to those actively going through breakups. I also share my journey in the beginning of Break Up Bestie when conscious uncoupling first became a thing and how it made me question my breakup philosophy for a hot second.

In today's solo episode I'm breaking down the myth that going no contact with your ex requires will power or strength. I talk about how you'll almost always have to go no contact before you want to or before you think you're ready but by doing so you GAIN strength. I also talk about how maintaining No Contact doesn't have to do with your will power it has to do with the systems in place you have to make sure you don't break it.
